Starting Point

It all started in January 2021, during the second lockdown. I was 58kg—skinny fat, weak, and insecure. I’ll never forget looking at myself in the mirror and hating what I saw. But then I noticed my brother, who was lean and disciplined from working out at home. Even with gyms closed, he stayed consistent. As a skinny 15-year-old, I admired that. So I made a choice: no more excuses.
With no equipment, I started with push-ups, crunches, and sit-ups—anything to build strength. It wasn’t easy, but I refused to stay the kid who got bullied for being skinny.

Gyms Reopened

When gyms finally reopened in May 2021, I joined a small leisure centre near me. At first, I had major gym anxiety—I stuck to machines, afraid to even touch free weights. But I showed up 3x a week, no excuses.
I started my first ‘bulk’ (more of a dirty bulk, honestly), eating everything in sight. By August 2021, I’d gained 7kg, hitting 65kg. I wasn’t lean, but for the first time, I wasn’t ‘the skinny kid’ anymore.

1 Year of consistent lifting

By January 2022, I turned 16—and celebrated one full year of non-stop lifting. That dirty bulk? It got me to 72kg. My body was changing, my strength was exploding, and for the first time, people were noticing.
The biggest milestone? Hitting a 100kg (2 plate) bench press. Me—the same kid who struggled with 10 push-ups a year earlier—was now moving real weight. The gym anxiety was gone. Machines became free weights. Fear became confidence.

17 Years old

At 17, I hit my strongest pound-for-pound version yet. The current 75kg frame now moved crazy weight:
🔥 50kg dumbbells on incline for 12 reps
🔥 40kg shoulder press for 8

The ungodly dirty bulk

At 18, I went all in. 4000+ calories a day, relentless lifting, and an obsession with getting bigger. The results? Insane. My strength exploded—squats, bench, everything shot up. The scale hit 87kg, and in the gym, I felt unstoppable.
But outside? That’s where reality hit.
